When you join The Highlanders Hiking Club, you become part of a vibrant, enthusiastic, and fun-loving group. The Highlanders enjoy year-round walks around The Highlands at Pittsford campus, the Erie Canal, and the Village of Pittsford. The club is led by Randy, affectionately referred to as a “jumping bean.” Not only is Randy an avid walker, but he’s also wonderful at bringing people together. The club often incorporates visits to local events and other happenings into their outings, and all members are kept informed through an email newsletter.

Today’s weather should be tomorrow’s weather, perhaps a few degrees hotter.
Starting from the ‘big house’ welcome center at 1:30 then meeting our cottage neighbors at the Hahnemann Club at 1:35 we will proceed to the Public Library which will be holding its semi-annual book sale. It’s an opportunity to find your favorite author, mystery or even wonderful jigsaw puzzles to enjoy during the coming winter months. If it’s not too hot we will return via Schoen Place and the canal trail.
