Laurelwood Visitation Fact Sheet

Revised March 12, 2021

  • Visits may only occur if Laurelwood remains COVID free for a minimum of 14 days.
  • Visitors are now permitted to visit with their loved one inside the resident’s apartment. As weather gets nicer, we encourage you to consider an outdoor visit with your loved one.
  • We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your visit to allow adequate time for screening.
  • The length of time for each visit will be no more than 45 minutes per visit to allow opportunity for all residents.
  • The total number of visitors allowed at one time can be 2, as total number of visitors in our building cannot exceed 10% of our occupancy.
  • All visitors must be sixteen years old or accompanied by an adult.
  • Visitors must only spend time with their loved one and not with other residents.
  • We ask that visitors keep their movements within the community to a minimum. After you are screened at the Front Desk, go directly to the resident’s apartment. Do not socialize with others in common areas or hallways.
  • Visitors will be asked to remain in the front entrance to be screened for signs and symptoms of Covid-19. This includes a health questionnaire and temperature check.
  • Visitors will be asked to use an alcohol based hand sanitizer prior to the visit. The sanitizer will be located in our front entrance and outside of each apartment.
  • Masks must be worn by residents and visitors at all times. If you do not have one, one will be provided.
  • Visitors will be given a cleaning caddy with sanitizing spray and wipes at screening and will be responsible for disinfecting any area touched.
