Success Coach Certified Nurse Aide (Days)

The primary purpose of this position is to coach, mentor, and support newly hired CNAs, shower aides, and hospitality aides as well as proactively build a rapport with staff on all units with the goal of eliciting and identifying professional and personal obstacles then partnering with the leadership team to solve them.

Primary duties and required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

 —Collaborates with team of nurses and rehabilitation staff in providing person-centered care per the individual care plan.

–Documents all care and observations in an accurate and timely manner.

–Provides resident and loved ones with emotional comfort, support, and guidance.

–Partners with Clinical Educator, Nurse Manager, and Unit Preceptors to precept and mentor newly hired CNAs, Shower Aides, and Hospitality aides.

–Collaborates with leadership team by proactively bringing to light and constructively diagnosing professional and personal coworker challenges, advocating for coworkers, and presenting solutions.

–Leads with respect, trust, and a “Don’t ask someone to do something you wouldn’t do yourself” mindset.

–Ability to be a change management and cross-departmental champion by exuding a positive, optimistic, constructive, and accountable attitude in the face of adversity.

–Ability to be approachable, open-minded, empathetic, supportive,  and build an authentic rapport with all staff.

–Ability to actively listen, ask meaningful questions, analyze and evaluate challenges, and provide constructive feedback and solutions.

–Ability to be accountable to oneself, coworkers, and residents by showing up to work when scheduled, on time, and floating to where needed most.

–Ability to have a strong attention to detail.

–Ability to understand the significance and solemn responsibility of caring for nursing home residents and inspiring coworkers to follow suit.

Qualifications:

Min. High school diploma and /or GED equivalent. Preferred five years or more experience as a Certified Nurse Aide in a skilled nursing facility.

Pay Range: $25.00hr- $30.00hr
