HR Administrative Support Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity available for a full time HR Administrative Support Specialist!

This position will provide administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department, handling a variety of tasks related to the recruitment process and working through the day-to-day activities of HR such as onboarding, benefits and compliance, maintaining accurate record-keeping, and HR records. They will assist with the entire employee lifecycle, from initial application to departure, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations.

Recruitment and Onboarding: ·Posts job vacancies and tracks applications ·Assists with screening candidates and facilitating interviews ·Assists with conducting new employee orientations and onboarding. ·Responsible for the onboarding process which includes background checks and reference checks ·Maintains employee records (both paper and electronic) ·

General HR Support: Supports and collaborates daily with HR Generalist. ·Maintains HR databases and ensures data accuracy. ·Assists with benefits administration and payroll. ·Assists with monitoring and maintaining compliance of CHRC, DOH, DOL and Federal/State regulations. Supports other HR functions as needed.

Essential Skills & Qualifications: Education: Associate degree; or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: 3+ years of proven clerical experience required with 1-2 years of HR experience preferred. Must be efficient in Microsoft Office. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail is a must. High level of initiative & independence required. Strong organizational and communication skills required. Knowledge of HRIS databases and payroll systems preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence, humility, and awareness to receive and give constructive feedback. · Strong organizational and communication skills: Must have the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with employees and other departments. · Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite: Knowledge of HRIS databases and payroll systems preferred. · Attention to detail.
