Your Mission: What You’ll Do & The Impact You’ll Make
As our Life Enrichment Assistant, you’ll be a vital force in crafting joyful and engaging days for our residents, including those in Laurel Way Memory Care. Your dynamic role will include:
Innovating & Inspiring: Creating, preparing, and leading a diverse array of exciting group activities, one-on-one engagements, and enriching community outings that cater to the unique interests and needs of our senior population.
Building Anticipation: Enthusiastically promoting upcoming programs and igniting residents’ excitement, ensuring everyone feels eager and welcomed to join in the fun.
Fostering Connection: Regularly interacting with residents, truly listening to their activity preferences, and creating an atmosphere where friendships flourish and socialization thrives.
Championing Well-being: Thoughtfully observing residents’ personal needs and ensuring their safety and comfort at all times, whether within our campus or on an adventure outside within our community.
Welcoming Hearts Home: Playing a key role in our special Laurelwood & Laurel Way welcoming program, helping new residents smoothly transition and feel like part of our family from day one.

A Natural Motivator: You possess the remarkable ability to inspire, motivate, and encourage residents to actively participate in meaningful, purposeful activities throughout the day and evening.
A Heart for Seniors: You have a demonstrated interest in working with the senior population, and prior experience planning/coordinating activities for memory care residents is a strong preference. Familiarity with Alzheimer’s/Dementia is a definite plus!
An Organized Visionary: You plan and organize work efficiently, can gracefully handle multiple priorities, and consistently follow through on assignments with excellent attention to detail.
A Positive Influence: You act as a role model for staff, contribute positively to team morale, and thrive in a collaborative environment dedicated to building an effective team.
An Exceptional Communicator: With strong written and verbal communication skills, you connect effortlessly and empathetically with residents, families, and colleagues alike.
A Resilient Problem-Solver: You possess the ability to solve practical problems and skillfully navigate emergent situations, maintaining composure under pressure.
Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable utilizing computer software like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher to enhance your programming.
Educational Foundation: A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Expected hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, Full Time, 37.5 hr. week. Every 4th weekend will work Saturday & Sunday. Will have off the Friday before and Monday after.

Pay Range: $17.00hr – $21.25 per hour
