Dining Services Manager
Seeking experienced, friendly, caring professional! Reports directly to Senior Manager of Dining Operations and in collaboration with the other Dining Services Manager, the person in this position will work harmoniously with all stakeholders to create an exceptional dining experience for the resident, their guests and independent party. With a primary focus on front of the house operations in the independent dining rooms along with catering and special events.
This position will cross support and provide back up for the Laurelwood Dining Room and Bistro and front of the house operations. It also covers administrative support and staff oversight to assure compliance and operational excellence. Will supervise dinner shifts, manage the beverage, wine, beer and spirits program as well as working as the bartender at happy hour, and staffing catering functions as well as managing the ordering, inventory & the conducting of monthly inventory of all alcohol, lead and conduct a weekly SEF (Special Event Form) meeting to go over all upcoming catering events, as well as continually updates and communicates all dining leadership of information regarding upcoming events
The hours of this position will work primarily four afternoon-evening shifts- (11:30am-8pm/12:30pm-9pm), and one day shift (7am-3pm). Schedule may work into three afternoon-evenings, and two day shifts in the future.
