Dining

Our extensive menu is overseen by a registered dietitian, and offers nutritionally balanced and wholesome foods. 

Our diets include:

  • The "House" Menu - the main diet for our Residents & Patients
  • The Renal Diet - for Residents & Patients on dialysis or having other renal concerns
  • The Lactose-Reduced Diet - provides menu items with little to no dairy

Our menus are very extensive and our registered diet technician and registered dietitian are on hand to meet with each person to ensure individual preferences are accommodated.  In addition, our cooks are certified through the Serv-Safe food safety coursework and have knowledge of all safe food preparation techniques.

Below are examples of what to expect when dining at The Living Center:

Breakfast Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Cornflakes, Orange Juice, and Raisin Toast
 
Lunch Apple Juice, Beef Pot Roast with Gravy, Potato Pancakes, Harvard Beets, and Chocolate Crème Pie
 
Dinner French Onion Soup, Broccoli Quiche, Tossed Salad with Dressing, Mandarin Oranges, and Oatmeal Cookie
