Highlands Raises Money For Share Our Strength Great American Bake Sale

The Highlands at Pittsford Host Charity Bake Sale
The Highlands at Pittsford hosted a bake sale on November 24th 2009, to raise money for the national organization Share Our Strength's Great American Bake Sale. Their motto is “No Kid Hungry” and strives to achieve this goal by 2015. Funds raised will support afterschool and summer feeding programs to help ensure that kids get the nutritious food they need to grow, learn and thrive. Highlands' residents and staff sold items prepared by the fine dining chefs and the School of the Holy Childhood. With everyone's hard work and support we were able to raise $1300 to help Share Our Strength achieve their goal.
